" Adagio for strings "

Inspired by Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings, Op. 11, this piece became the very first painting in the collection. As the inspiration unfolded gracefully, much like the flowing, emotional melody of the song, it gave birth to the entire concept behind the collection. A soft, bright backlight gently illuminates the hands as they guide the orchestra in a delicate, soothing rhythm full of subtle expression. This painting remains, by far, one of my most cherished and deeply personal favorites.
